3rd Six Weeks Report Card will be handed out at Student Led Conferences on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 4:30 - 6:30. 

At the student led conference, students will review past TAKS scores and current Benchmark scores. Students will analyze their strengths and weakness with TAKS objectives and review their intervention plan that may include afterschool and Saturday tutorials.

7th/8th grade report to their 5th period class.

6th grader report to their Advisory classes

A parent/guardian must be present in order to conduct the conference and receive the report card.

NISD’s Adult and Community Education Department has launched a new Family Involvement Program.  The primary purpose of the program is to build communication with parents, staff and community in order to assist at risk students who are experiencing barriers to success and to build Parent Capacity to particiapte effectively in school activities.

 In January, Anson Jones MS will begin offering after-school tutorials and Saturday tutorials.

Simply fill out the Extended Week TAKS Support Contract and return it as soon as possible.
