Ms. Cormier
Greetings! I'm Ms. Cormier, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be your Collaborative Teacher this year. With 7 years of teaching experience, I'm ready to embark on an exciting journey together. During the recent summer break, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend the entire month of July visiting my relatives in Greece. Acropolis, the beautiful beaches, and delicious food made it truly memorable. I also took a week to explore London, where I indulged in classic 'fish & chips,' caught some incredible Broadway shows, and even made a quick stop at Buckingham Palace. I'm eagerly looking forward to getting to know each one of you and creating an absolutely fantastic year together!
Education: I proudly attended Texas A&M University, graduating in the Class of 2013 'Whoop!' While enrolled in the Corps of Cadets program (ROTC) within the Navy/Marine branch,
I earned my degree in Recreation, Parks, & Tourism Science, accompanied by a minor in Youth Development. Following that, I obtained certifications in Early Childhood Development through 6th Grade and Special Education.

Mrs. McCracken
Hello, Stampede!
My name is Melanie McCracken and I’m so excited to be at Kallison Elementary as a special education collaborative teacher in 2nd and 3rd grades! This is my first year back to teaching after being home with my kids and working for a non-profit for the last 10 years! I graduated from Texas Tech University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career at Leon Springs Elementary where I taught for seven years. I previously taught in Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grades. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 18 years and have five children. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids in all of their activities, cheering on the Red Raiders in college football, and spending time with our friends.

Mrs. Cricchio
Hey y’all! I’m Stephanie Cricchio, a collab teacher at Kallison Elementary. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Media Marketing. After taking a break from working to raise my children, I went back to get my certification in Special Education. This is my third year in Education. I am so excited to get to know your student this year. I am dedicated to helping students succeed in their personal academic goals and create a fun learning environment that fosters a joy for learning. When I'm not at school, I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoor activities in Texas.
Mr. Mills
Hello! I am James Mills and this is my 6th year teaching. I am certified in general education EC-6th and special education EC-12th. I am excited to be back at Kallison for my second full year. I am retired from the military after serving nine years in the Navy, four years in the Army National Guard, and 12 years in the Air Force. Teaching your kids has helped me figure out what I want to do now that I am grown up.
Most of my time outside school is spent attending my son and daughter’s Harlan High School swim meets and water polo matches. My youngest son attends Straus Middle School. My hobbies include hiking, backpacking, and camping in primitive areas. Hiking the Appalachian or Pacific Coast Trails are on my to-do list.
