New NAHS Technology Policy:
Students who bring a personal electronic device (cell phone, laptop, Chromebook, MacBook, etc.) will be required to turn them in during the morning search process; these will be returned at the end of the day during 8th period.
NISD-Issued Chromebooks:
Students will not be allowed to bring an NISD-issued Chromebook to NAHS, nor will NAHS be issuing NISD Chromebooks to students. Students will use teacher-provided Chromebooks and technology as needed. It is at the teacher's discretion to allow students the use of NISD Chromebooks and technology during class time.
Consequences for possession of a personal electronic device on school campus may include confiscation of the device and requiring parents/guardians to pick it up at the school office and meet with an administrator.
