More than $1.2 million awarded to NISD campuses for improved test scores
Staff members at nine Northside campuses will receive more than $1.2 million in "bonuses" this week through the Texas Educator Excellence Grant, also known as the state's teacher incentive program.

NISD Board approves 2008-09 budget and tax rate
The Northside ISD Board of Trustees Tuesday night approved the 2008-09 budget and also voted to increase the District's property tax rate to pay for enrollment growth, teacher raises, rising utility and fuel costs, and inflation.
Time to go back to school
