Last school year your PTSA was able to do so many wonderful things for our students and staff. We provided three students with scholarships; Jamie Pinkard was awarded $500, and both Bianca Rose Garcia and Michael Lockwood were awarded $250 each. We had two programs for both parents and students regarding drunk driving prevention. We hosted three teacher appreciation meals. We also merged Project Graduation with our PTSA and are currently planning a fabulous Project Graduation event for seniors the night of graduation: June 11, 2009. O'Connor High School's PTA is really a PTSA.  Why?  High School students are allowed to join the PTA.  Therefore, a High School PTA organization becomes a PTSA which stands for Parent Teacher Student Association.
