Dottie Castro joined Northside ISD in April of 1999 as a Principal's Secretary at Northside Children's Center. In January of 2001, she joined Technology Services in the department of Information Services as a Student System Specialist where she trained and supported Attendance Secretaries. In October of 2007, she joined the Training and Development Department as an Applications Training Technologist. Dottie helps develop and write various application and software training guides used district wide. She also trains on the various applications and software used.

Dottie is the coordinator for the Q.U.A.D conference held four times a year for classified staff starting with the Attendance Secretary Kick-off meeting held in July. She also helps support Information Services in training new secretaries using TREx, Gradebook and Cognos.
