Warren/CCA Student Parking & Off Campus Lunch

2023-2024 Student Parking Regulations

  • All student vehicles with the privilege to park on the Warren HS campus must be registered with the Warren HS APO and permanently affix a current parking permit to the interior windshield. A new permit must be purchased each school year.
  • Parking permits will be sold for $20 to registered Warren HS JUNIOR & SENIOR students who hold a valid Texas driver’s license and provide proof of insurance showing the vehicle being registered with the student’s name on the insurance policy. You will need your license and proof of insurance when you present the signed and completed application.
  • A parking permit must be purchased for each vehicle that will be parked on campus. The transfer of parking permits from one vehicle to another is prohibited due to insurance concerns.
  • Students who must drive a different vehicle for a short period of time must obtain a temporary permit from the Associate Principal Office (APO).
  • Parking privileges may be revoked if a student is in violation of the parking expectations.
  • The speed limit on campus is 10 mph! All traffic laws are strictly enforced and tickets may be issued. Serious and/or repeated violations of traffic laws may result in the loss of parking privileges along with other consequences. A parent conference may be required if a new application for a parking permit is made to have privileges reinstated.
  • Parking for students will be in student designated areas located in the front of the B building. Parking in other areas on campus or taking up more than one parking space can result in loss of parking privileges and/or TOWING OF THE VEHICLE.
  • A student with a fraudulently obtained parking permit may lose their parking privileges for the remainder of the year.
  • No loitering in the parking lot before or after school or during lunch periods.
  • Student vehicles are subject to search if there is reasonable belief that prohibited items may be located in the vehicle. This includes a vehicle that has been detected by the NISD safety canine.
  • Any time a parking permit has been suspended and/or revoked, a new permit must be applied for and purchased if reinstated.
  • It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that all passengers have administrative permission to leave campus during the school day (ie: lunch, off periods, etc).
  • ALL STUDENTS MUST ENTER & EXIT WARREN HS FROM MILITARY DR WEST FROM THE SOUTHWEST ENTRANCE (BY THE TENNIS COURTS).
  • Consult the Student-Parent Handbook for further information.

Any moving traffic violations, parking violations or regulation violations may result in administrative consequences and/or a citation by NISD police officers or other law enforcement officials.
