Driggers Gets Deployed with New Computers

The 2012-2013 school year is the 6th year Driggers Elementary is in existance. The life cycle of computers is about 5 years old, so it was our turn to get brand new computers, paid for with bond money. Teachers all received a brand new laptop and have gone through several trainings on using the new equipiment and software. All classrooms now have 4 student computers in them (2 brand new ones and 2 repurposed from the older computers that were already on our campus.) Teachers also received Elmo document cameras to replace overheads in the classrooms. We are not quite finished with the deployment process, but teacher and student computers and the Elmos are now in place. We are excited about having more student stations and newer equipment and software available for everyone to use.
