The Interscholastic League Press Conference, the journalism branch of the University Interscholastic League, conducts competitions that result in individual awards and ratings of student publications. The Marshall Rampage earned this highest ranking for the 17th consecutive year and was nominated as finalist for the Star Award, the highest overall honor a student newspaper can receive from the UIL. The Clark Chronicle placed in the top 10 percent of newspapers statewide through the Interscholastic Press Association.
