Are you ready to pick up the PACE to college?

High School and GED graduates wanting a little help in navigating the college process can apply to participate in the PACE program through a partnership with NISD and Northwest Vista College.

PACE, or Preparing Adults for College Excellence, is a fast-paced intensive program designed to assist new and returning college students with passing placement exams, navigating the college entrance process, and successfully transitioning into higher education. The program is free for eligible candidates.

An informational open house will be held on Friday, July 16 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northside Learning Center, 6632 Bandera Road, Bldg. A.

Eligibility requirements include a GED or high school diploma, must be 18 years or older, complete an application, and have a high level of commitment and availability. Classes will be five days a week, up to seven hours each day.
