Fine Arts groups earn $8,750 at F.A.M.E. Awards

Four Northside ISD high school Fine Arts groups earned a total of $8,750 in grants at the ninth annual Junior League of San Antonio F.A.M.E. Awards.

Finalists performed at the F.A.M.E. Awards on Saturday, April 8. First place performances earned $2,000 grants, second place earned $1,000, and third place earned $750.

Winners were selected by judges with expertise in each discipline.

Northside ISD results are:

Dance – 1st place – Brandeis High School
Vocal – 1st place – Warren High School
Theatrical – 1st place – Warren High School
Dance – 2nd place – Clark High School
Theatrical – 2nd place – O’Connor High School
Vocal – 3rd place – Brandeis High School

F.A.M.E. stands for Funding Arts and Music Education and the Junior League F.A.M.E. Committee recognizes San Antonio-area youth in the performing arts.
