NISD student artists ride high in Western Art Show contest

Congratulations to our Northside students who participated in the San Antonio Stockshow and Rodeo's Western Art Show.  

Northside ISD had multiple first, second, and third-place winners and three Class Champions. Each Class Champion was awarded a scholarship for $10,000.  

The Class Champions are Amberly Wintheiser and Medeleine Folles, both from Brandeis High School; and Loryn Batson from O’Connor High School. Their art teachers are Josh Gonzales, Brandeis High School, and Perla Tenorio, O’Connor High School.
