PBIS (Positive Behavior and Intervention Support)

Braun Station Elementary School implements a Positive Behavior and Intervention Support system (PBIS). It is an approach to behavior support that includes an ongoing process of research and data-based decision making. Our focus is to build social competencies and prevent the occurrence of problem behaviors to increase academic and behavior success. The PBIS committee has established a consistent set of school-wide rules and expectations for all students and staff that are consistent in every setting throughout our school. Our unified set of rules and expectations are as follows:

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
