Northside ISD’s STEM Education program provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through inquiry-based instruction, problem solving, and design thinking, students develop critical thinking and collaboration skills that prepare them for future academic and career success.

STEM Education at Ed Cody ES
At Cody Elementary, we provide and facilitate enriching STEM (Science. Technology. Engineering. Math) experiences that spark the imagination and lead students into a world of discovery. Students work together to solve real world problems. These kinds of hands-on investigations are open ended and require students to work towards a solution and or a product in their own way. And guess what? This kind of learning opens up all kinds of higher level questioning and thinking strategies. And the best part? Students are taking charge of their own learning! When students leave STEM, they are confident in their ability to problem solve and develop the tools to define their own journey and destination. After all, that is where growth and learning happen!
