The Langley Strings class provides specialized instruction to teach 5th grade students lessons on playing the violin, viola, cello, or bass. Students participating in this group must provide their own instrument either by purchasing one or enrolling in a rental program. Students who participate all year long in this program focus on technique and music-reading skills. They will have the opportunity to enroll in the intermediate orchestra, rather than the beginning orchestra, when they attend middle school.
