Fifth grade is the culmination of the elementary years. Students bring to 5th grade all they have learned in previous years and apply those skills in more complex ways. As students are being prepared for middle school, 5th grade provides many opportunities for continual growth as learners develop important life skills such as communication, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, and leadership. Fifth grade is a special journey that closes one chapter and opens another.
