2nd grade focuses on TEKS in math from place value to double digit addition and subtraction. In Reading we focus on foundational skills to build strong readers and comprehension skills to develop their thinking about reading. In science and social studies skills such as citizenship, force and motion, changes in the environment and outer space are studied.
