Sotomayor High School Update: Building Cleared for Reentry

Dear Sotomayor High School Families,

Authorities have cleared the building and declared it safe for reentry. Students are returning inside under staff supervision.

Parents may still choose to pick up their children early. A valid photo ID is required to check a student out. Afternoon buses will run on their regular schedule.

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
