Students will select one Fine Arts elective course to fill the remainder of the school day.

Note: In place of Advisory, students may be enrolled in an additional class based on academic need.

7TH GRADE

Students will enroll in one course in each of the following content areas:

English Language Arts (ELA)

Math

Texas History 7

Science

PE, Athletics, or Dance

Students will select elective courses to fill the remainder of the school day.

Note: In place of an elective, students may be enrolled in an intervention class based on academic need.

8TH GRADE

Students will enroll in one course in each of the following content areas:

English Language Arts (ELA)

Math

US History 8

Science

PE, Athletics, or Dance

Methodology for Academic & Personal Success (MAPS), AVID 1, or Innovative Thinkers 3

Students will select elective courses to fill the remainder of the school day.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
