Our Mission

The mission of the Section 504 program is to comply with Title 34 Education Subtitle B, Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education, Chapter I – Office for Civil Rights Department of Education, Part 104 – Nondiscrimination on the basis of handicap in programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance also known as Section 504.

What is Section 504?


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
