Our PTA is partnering up with HEB Collecting Plastic Bags

Every year, H-E-B partners with local schools to highlight the importance of taking care of our Lone Star State. This year, we are thrilled to announce that Stinson is participating in the H-E-B School Plastic Bag Recycling Challenge!

Our students kicked things off this past Tuesday by watching an introductory video about the challenge. Now, we need your help to reach our goal!

How it works:

• The Goal: Collect as many plastic bags as possible to maximize the positive environmental impact.  
• Where to Drop Off: Students should turn bags in to their 4th-period teacher.
• Pro-Tip for Counting: To help our PTA volunteers, please bundle your bags by placing 19 bags inside of 1 bag to create a neat bundle of 20.
• Prizes & Recognition: Stinson PTA earns H-E-B store gift cards based on the volume of bags collected; the more bags turned in, the higher the gift card value.
