Cardboard Arcade is an after-school program for 2nd grade students in NISD. It is an engineering program where students work in teams or individually to design, test, redesign, retest, and eventually create a working arcade-type game. Students consider game design, rules for playing, and prior Science knowledge when designing their games.

 

 


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
