Our goal in Second Grade is to cultivate confident and independent learners. At Aue, we focus on each Gator as an individual so they may grow in compassion, collaboration and critical thinking. Second Grade is a great transition year between learning to read and the application of reading through comprehension and understanding. Cursive is taught in Second Grade, too! Basic math fact fluency is a vital skill to assist with problem solving and deepening advanced math concepts. We look forward to meeting the needs of you child in Second Grade.
