The Robotics Team is a competitive team that consists of 10 students from 4th and 5th grades, who work together to identify a real-world problem, propose a solution, and prepare a presentation about it. In addition, the team programs a Spike Prime robot, using the Lego Education Spike Prime software, to complete missions on a game board. Participants are chosen through an application process in October of each school year.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
