With over 18 years in education, I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every student experiences both academic growth and personal development. I believe great schools are built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to doing whatever is necessary to help every child succeed.
Family, integrity, and impact continue to guide my leadership. I am committed to fostering a campus environment where students feel known and valued, teachers feel supported and empowered, and families feel welcomed as essential partners in the educational journey.

My name is Lisa Hinojosa, and I am the proud Associate Principal of Beard Elementary. Originally from McAllen, Texas, I attended Texas State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I also attended The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where I received a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
I have proudly served Northside ISD in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher for Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade, Math Specialist for grades K–5, and Associate Principal for the past eight years.
