Young Astronauts is a Northside ISD club filled with aspiring scientists, and students who love creating and thinking outside the box. It is a tuition-based science enrichment program for fourth and fifth grade students.
The topic changes each year, but students love the hands-on activities that make them work as teams and come up with creative solutions to problems. The activities focus on building an interest in space science.
Fifth grade students have a chance to participate in the culmination activity of the Stargazing event. This event happens every February, and students gather together at a Northside Elementary school in the evening to participate in stargazing.
