Music class focuses on singing, playing instruments, listening, movement, world music, singing games, and drumming. Fourth and fifth graders have access to recorders.
Students in grades Kinder through 5th have music instruction once every 5 days. Content grades and citizenship grades are taken every nine weeks.
Several performing groups practice throughout the year including Choir and Beginning Violin. The students perform for Veterans Day on campus and many different community events such as Spurs Games and business openings.
