5. Education CTE Courses

All students will begin their CTE Education Courses with Principles of Education (9th grade) and Child Development (10th grade).

In their Junior and Senior year, students will have the option to specialize in one of the following pathways:

  • Early Learning Pathway (PK-2nd grade Teaching) or
  • Teaching and Training (3rd-12th grade Teaching or Specialized Careers in Education)

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
