On Wednesday, Oct. 21, the PSAT/NMSQT exam, a College Board assessment, will be administered at high school campuses to NISD enrolled students classified as Grade 10 and Grade 11 who register in advance to participate. There is a fee for this optional test for Grade 10 students. There is no fee for this optional test for Grade 11 students since the PSAT/NMSQT exam is the route of entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program for 11th grade students.

Register by September 23. Late registration is available September 24-30 but will incur a $5 late fee.  


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
