About me: I am originally from Johnson City Tennessee and still a big time Volunteer fan. I am married and have five children and three grandchildren. My previous career was in the Air Force where I spent 22 years serving our great country. My career in the Air Force began by becoming an aircraft mechanic on the F 15 and F 111. I then transitioned into Air Force recruiting where I spent many rewarding years sharing career opportunities with high school and college students. After retiring from the Air Force, I taught AFJROTC for 7 years before going into administration. My hobbies include golf, hiking and camping, and spending time with my family.

Welcome students and parents to CCA! I am so blessed and excited to be part of a tremendous team. It is amazing watching students grow and obtain confidence in their strand through the rigorous curriculum that is provided to them. The students at CCA do incredible things. When I first stepped foot on the campus, I immediately noticed the impressive work students accomplish. We provide a caring culture and strive to build lasting relationships with all students.

About me: I am a Northside product graduating from John Marshall High School. I earned my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University (Go Lumberjacks) and my masters degree from Texas A&M-Kingsville (Go Javelinas). I begin my 30th year in education which I am proud to say have all been in Northside. My first twenty-two years were spent as a math teacher/coach and my last seven have been as a High School Administrator. I have been married for 27 years and have two college age children. I am a huge college football fan and spend most of my Saturday’s passionately rooting for the Aggies of Texas A&M (Whoop!). Besides watching college football, I love spending time with my family, fishing, golfing, and traveling.

Program Coordinator

Welcome Students, Parents and Business Partners!  It is going to be another great year at Construction Careers Academy. I love being a part of this amazing program and seeing our students grow right before my eyes into wonderful and confident young adults. Much of how this is accomplished is through the incredible projects we do here on campus.  These projects give each student to opportunity to work individually and in teams; to trouble shoot and think critically; and to see the evidence of what they can accomplish with their hands and their minds.

CCA has been my home away from home since it began in the 2009-2010 school year.  I have 13 years of residential home construction experience as a Construction Manager/Project Manager, and three additional years as an Estimator/Purchasing Manager prior to coming into education. I proudly bring this experience to CCA along with my many connections in the industry that I maintain.

I am a graduate of NISD: Helotes Elementary, Stevenson Middle School and John Marshall High School. I graduated from UTSA with a degree in Economics, and Lamar University with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.  When I am not at CCA you will find me at home, walking the walk with my many remodeling projects that keep me busy.

The success of our students reflects the relationships we have with our parents, our instructors and our business partners.  We thank all of you for your continued support!
