Gabriela Garcia - Principal
I am Gabriela Garcia and I am so thrilled to be the Principal at Esparza Elementary. This is my 3rd year at Esparza. A little about me: This is my 16th year in education with 15 years in Northside. I come to Esparza with several years of experience as a Vice Principal at both Hatchett Elementary and Henderson Elementary. Prior to my service as an administrator, I served as a Title I Math Specialist for 3 years and a bilingual teacher for 6 years. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas-Pan American and a Master's Degree in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University.

On a personal note, I have lived in San Antonio for the past 15 years. I have a loving and supportive husband, Gustavo. My daughter, Vyctoria attends Stevens School and is active with the Pep Squad Team. My son, Nataniel, will attend Vale Middle school and is pursuing the basketball and track team. I love taking road trips with my family and seeing my kids take part in their extracurricular activities.

I will continue to do my best to build a positive relationship with students, staff, and families of the Esparza Elementary School community. I can be reached via email at gabriela.garcia@nisd.net or feel free to stop by and schedule a conference at any time as my door is always open to you.
