Project ACORN (A Community of Respect and Nurturing) is a unique program designed to inspire elementary students to explore, appreciate, and care for the natural world. Through hands-on activities, outdoor learning, and community projects, students develop a deep connection to nature and learn the importance of environmental stewardship.

This program fosters curiosity, teamwork, and respect for the environment, empowering students to make a positive impact on their world. Project ACORN is a wonderful way for students to grow as learners, leaders, and caretakers of our planet while embracing the values of respect and responsibility.


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
