This is my 26th year in education and my fifth year serving as an Elementary Principal. I would like to extend a warm welcome to you as we begin this new school year. This year at Fields we are adopting the Growth Mindset. This is a belief system that suggests that one’s intelligence and/or talents can be grown or developed with persistence, effort, and a focus on learning. We will focus on grit, perseverance, and the power of yet. We are eager to meet you all and look forward to a wonderful school year. Our goal is to provide our students with an excellent education, in a safe, caring, respectful and rigorous learning environment. With a positive attitude, support from home, and exemplary teaching and learning in school, your child will blossom. Together we will create life-long learners who will make their mark on the world!
