A Little About Me: This is my sixteenth year in Northside and I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and was a Math Specialist at Fisher Elementary for 4 years. In 2014, I became a Vice Principal and had the opportunity to serve in that capacity at both Westwood Terrace and Cable Elementary.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and my Administrator’s Certificate all from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Go Runners!
I look forward to making a difference in our school and community with each and every one of our students, families, and members of our community. I believe that we can build a lasting relationship to support our students in becoming honorable citizens and lifelong learners.
Please feel free to contact me if you should have any questions, suggestions, or concerns.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working in education in Northside. In 2007, I had the privilege to begin teaching as a 2nd Grade Bilingual teacher at Esparza Elementary. The following year I became a Dual Language teacher in the same grade level. A few years later I taught as a 3rd Grade Dual Language teacher. In 2015 I was blessed to receive my Master Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I’m a proud Road Runner! I had the privilege of being the Administrative Intern at Boone Elementary in 2016. The following year, I was honored to become the Vice Principal here at John Glenn in March of 2017. I am very excited for this school year and the wonderful opportunities for growth and learning for our students. I know that as we work together we can strengthen our relationships which in turn will have a lasting impact on each one of our Glenn students. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns.
It is an honor and privilege to be your Administrative Intern, and most importantly a Glenn Astronaut! I have heard many great things about the opportunities that are available to our Astronauts and look forward to taking part in your child’s educational journey.
Like many of our Astronauts, I started my educational journey in Northside, from kindergarten through high school. I am proud to say I am a product of Northside ISD and because of my experience as a student I decided to dedicate my educational career to the same district that helped foster my love for learning.
I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Bilingual and Bicultural Studies in 2010 and my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in 2017. I have served as a bilingual teacher since graduating from UTSA at Villarreal and Henderson Elementary and as a Language Support Teacher for the past 5 years at Knowlton Elementary. I now find myself ready to serve the Glenn community as an administrator with the hopes of becoming an Associative Principal in the near future.
I look forward to building strong relationships with the students, staff, and community and supporting you in any way that I can. Together we will Launch our Astronauts to great heights!
