Project Acorn is a science club that will focus on planting a garden, being a scientist, and investigating, as well as learning about butterflies.

While enjoying the outdoors, we will be learning about and growing Native Plants.

We will see Pollinators in action and help them thrive.

Our observations will be entered into an international database, GLOBE. Monarch butterflies will be our specialty!

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
