NISD provides school choice for students in middle school. This is the time of year where our 5th graders are able to apply for NISD Magnet Middle Schools.
Northside is providing Open Houses for all Middle school Magnets.
There are two Open Houses where all of the Magnet Schools will be at in December.
Each Magnet School will also host their own Open Houses at each of their campuses
The application opens on Monday, November 17th.
Northside ISD Middle School Magnet Fairs
Northside ISD invites all families to attend our Middle School Magnet Fairs to learn
more about innovative magnet programs, explore campus offerings, and receive
guidance on the application process. For additional resources and program details,

Magnet Fair #1
Date: December 1
Location: Northside Sports Gym
Shuttle Service: Beginning at 5:30 p.m., shuttle service will run between Hobby MS and Rudder MS to
the Northside Sports Gym. A shuttle will also run from Zachry MS to the Northside Sports Gym.
Magnet Fair #2
Date: December 8
Location: Northside Activity Center (NAC)
Shuttle Service: Beginning at 5:30 p.m., shuttle service will run between Ross MS and Neff MS to the
Northside Activity Center. Shuttle service will also be provided from Rayburn MS, Jones MS, and Pease MS to the
NAC.
