HNN is the morning Hurricane News Network. 4th & 5th grade students host a morning news “show” where they broadcast live from the news room. They share upcoming events, important announcements, and host daily guests to lead the pledges. Students are responsible for writing the script, directing, setting up the computer and iPad to broadcast, and anchoring the news.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
