4th Grade

In fourth grade, we're taking it to the next level. Now you'll learn about decimals, comparing fractions, and complex multiplication and division. We deepen your understanding of reading by identifying the structures and purposes of different genres so you comprehend when you read. We'll connect reading with writing by analyzing structures and purposes of writing to write various types of texts and respond to reading questions. Finally, you will be an expert on TEXAS in Social Studies and participate in fun science investigations about cycles, soil, electricity and more.

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
