What is a Family and Community Engagement ?
➢ Bridge the gap between home and school by
helping parents obtain the information and support they need to ensure
their child’s academic and social success.
➢ We are here to help students succeed, to support famililes
with resources, encourage school participation and much more.
What are the goals of the Family Engagement?
➢ To Motivate every student and their families to achieve greatness
➢ To Create an atmosphere that is welcoming for parents, families, and
the community
➢ To Promote Family Engagement in our school while providing
resources and/or the tools to do so as often as possible
➢ To Gather information and resources from our community partners that
will assist each family’s needs in their day-to-day lives
➢ To Celebrate ALL accomplishments of our teachers, students, families
and communities
What are some resources Family Engagement can provide?
➢ Basic Needs (clothes, shoes, eye glasses)
➢ School Items (backpacks, school supplies)
➢ Housing (rent assistance, utilities)
➢ Food Assistance
➢ Counseling/Mental Health Referrals
➢ Interpretation Services
