Melanie Strawbridge began her career as a third grade teacher in Alabama. She relocated to Texas in 2008 where she taught first, second, and fourth graders at Knowlton Elementary. She became Vice Principal of Hoffmann Elementary in 2016. She holds a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UTSA.
