Lisa Hahne graduated from Southwest Texas State University and completed a masters degree at Houston Baptist University in Education. She completed her Education Administration course work at Texas A & M Kingsville. She has worked in the educational sector for 28 years and honored that all of these years have been with the Northside Independent School District.
Mrs. Simmons joined Northside ISD in 2007 as the Reading Specialist at Pease Middle School. Throughout her NISD career, she has worked at NAMs Middle School, Jones Middle School, and Harlan High School as the 504 and Testing Coordinator. She was appointed Admin. Intern at Pease Middle School in the Fall of 2018, where she served until she was named Academic Program Coordinator at Holmes High School. Mrs. Simmons currently serves as the Academic Dean at Holmes and NSITE High School.
Mrs. Simmons earned her Bachelor's degree from The University of the Incarnate Word, Master's Degree from Concordia University, and her Doctorate from Capella University. She is a loving wife and a mother of a 9-year-old boy (who attends an NISD Elementary School) and a 1-year-old daughter.
Her passion is advocating and supporting all children and shaping them for what their future brings.
