The mission of AFJROTC is to "develop citizens of character dedicated to serving our nation and community." Cadets are expected to strive for and maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity. To do so, they must understand the United States Air Force core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do.
The AFJROTC curriculum includes aerospace related academic instruction and leadership training. Our Cadet Corps is led and managed by cadet officers and cadet non-commissioned officers. It is through this cadet organization that cadets learn management and leadership skills. The experiences our cadets gain in various positions afford them an excellent opportunity to develop important skills and traits, such as integrity, self-confidence, self-esteem, how to lead and how to follow, all of which will benefit our cadets later in whatever career they pursue after high school.
