Eric Arzola
Associate Principal

Mr. Arzola was born and raised in San Antonio and is a proud NISD product (Powell, Ross, Holmes). Prior to entering the realm of education, Mr. Arzola had both military and corporate experience. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, which included a year-long deployment to Iraq.  After his enlistment, Mr. Arzola began a career at USAA while he completed his bachelor's degree.

Mr. Arzola began his teaching career in 2014 at Stinson Middle School as a History teacher. In 2019, he became the Social Studies Department Coordinator at Folks Middle School. In 2020, he moved into campus administration as an Assistant Principal here at Anson Jones. In 2022, Mr. Arzola was honored to be promoted to the role of Associate Principal.

Mr. Arzola's core beliefs are simple: Every student deserves a safe learning environment where they can grow both academically and socially; and every teacher deserves an environment where they are valued and respected. When asked what he likes most about his job, Mr. Arzola replied, "I love this community. The amount of pride that our families have in our school is amazing. Our community is made up of hardworking families that want their children to have the best educational experience possible and they trust in us to deliver that experience."
