Quick Reminders
- Please keep an eye out for Principal Lazo's campus newsletters for reminders of campus procedures, photos of campus celebrations, and information on MAP testing.
- UTSA PREP applications are open online at: https://klesse.utsa.edu/prep/ Contact the STEM office so we can send you the conduct letter, transcript, and teacher email addresses you will need to apply.
- You can join the Jones PTA online.
- Jones STEM Magnet shirts and Jones MS shirts are available in the office for $10 cash.
Magnet School Registration and Transition
- Current 6th & 7th Grade Magnet students do NOT need to reapply. Students will register for next years classes here on campus and their status as a magnet students will continue.
- Current 8th Grade Magnet students should complete the google form letting us know about your high school choices for next year.
- I want to go to Jay/SEA next year! - complete the google form and choose “I Accept1”
- I want to try to get in to a different magnet school. - complete the google form and choose “I decline.” Then complete the magnet school application at nisd.net/magnets by January 21.
- I want to go to my neighborhood high school. - complete the google form and choose “I decline.”
- Current 5th Grade students who are interested in middle school magnets should complete the magnet school application at nisd.net/magnets by January 21. We encourage all applicants to select a first and second choice.
