School Photos and Yearbook Information
School picture day will be October 21, 2025.
Students will take pictures through PE, Healthy Habits, Athletics, and Dance.
This year's yearbooks can be ordered through LifeTouch by ordering online. Yearbooks will be delivered to campus later this year.
Recent Magnet Events
Ms. Castilla-Gutierrez, a scientist and researcher at Southwest Research Institute, visited with several of our students during a recent Lunch-and-Learn. It was an opportunity to learn about the daily work of a scientist and how they got to their position. There are more Lunch-and-Learns scheduled throughout the year.
We had a great time meeting up with several of our families this week for a fun bowling night at Bandera Bowl. We will have another social event in the spring when we go roller skating - watch our newsletters for information.
Family Connections - High School Readiness Meeting
Our Family Liaison is hosting a High School Readiness meeting October 28, at Jones MS from 5:30-7:00pm. We will offer refreshments and provide information about AVID, High School Credit, and College/Career/Military Readiness.
Trunk or Treat (and Candy Drive)
Jones Middle School is hosting our FOURTH ANNUAL Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 24, from 5:30-7:00 PM. Families are welcome!
Beginning September 24, we will begin our annual candy drive to collect candy to distribute at Trunk or Treat. Bring bags of 33 oz or more candy to the front office to help your grade level win!
Hoodies for Sale Online
Our online store is open, selling hoodies and house shirts. Orders will be delivered to campus before Christmas break. Please double-check sizes before you order. The online store does not offer returns or exchanges.
We continue to sell magnet shirts for $10 cash in the STEM office.
