Transportation Registration

Each year, Northside parents need to complete the RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION in their online HAC account. This year, the registration includes a required question about bus transportation.

If you will need bus transportation next year, be sure to select YES from the drop-down box asking if your child will ride the bus to school.

  • If your student will only ride the bus some days, please select YES.
  • If you are not sure if your student will ride the bus, please select YES.
  • Only select NO if you are certain your family will not need bus transportation next year.

Magnet school transportation is provided for students who live more than two miles from the campus, and bus stops are cluster locations (normally located at nearby elementary or middle schools). This registration process is an effort to monitor district services and identify opportunities to conserve district resources.

Northside Offers Summer HS Credit Advancement

Northside ISD is offering current 8th graders the opportunity to earn HS credits this summer in PE and/or Health.

The Summer Credit Advancement (CAdv) Program provides current 8th graders (2026-2027 9th graders) with an opportunity to accelerate eligible HS credit(s). The program is tuition-based and will be conducted via a hybrid learning environment (both in-person & virtual learning required) with the exception of PE, in which students must attend the specific summer campus in-person daily.

Summer CAdv is a supplemental program apart from the regular instructional school year. Summer CAdv students should have the ability to independently navigate a rigorous, fast-paced course curriculum and self-advocate when needing academic assistance.

More detailed information is available online at this link: https://app.smore.com/n/bwrsd Registration is open until May 1, and families can contact campus counselors for more information, including eligibility for tuition waivers.
