In this issue:
Thank You, Families, for Another Great School Year!
Your students have made several great accomplishments this year. It has been an exciting year of robots, bridges, Minecraft physics, field trips, air skimmers, light shows, and more. We were glad each of you were a part of it, and we hope everyone has a delightful summer.
We have a STEM camp for Jones magnet students the week after school is out, and we will have our annual gathering at a Missions baseball game. We hope to see many of you at both events.
Please reach out with questions. The office will still be open for a few weeks, and then we continue to monitor emails.

Magnet Night at Missions Baseball
July 22 is $2 night at the San Antonio Missions baseball game. Families from Jones Magnet and Zachry Magnet will meet up to enjoy the game as a group. You can buy your tickets online from the Missions at this link. If you'd like to sit near other magnet families, pick seats in sections 122 & 124.
Transportation Registration
Each year, Northside parents need to complete the RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION in their online HAC account. This year, the registration includes a required question about bus transportation.
If you will need bus transportation next year, be sure to select YES from the drop-down box asking if your child will ride the bus to school.
- If your student will only ride the bus some days, please select YES.
- If you are not sure if your student will ride the bus, please select YES.
- Only select NO if you are certain your family will not need bus transportation next year.
Magnet school transportation is provided for students who live more than two miles from the campus, and bus stops are cluster locations (normally located at nearby elementary or middle schools). This registration process is an effort to monitor district services and identify opportunities to conserve district resources.
