Welcome to Jack C. Jordan Middle School. My name is Brent Draker, and I am the Associate Principal at Jordan.

I of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (SWT) and a Masters in Education Administration (Lamar University)

I am in my 26th year of education. In my 26 years I have filled various roles and served in several different schools. I spent 17 years at the high school level as a teacher and a coach, before beginning my middle school adventure. I was fortunate to have even been a part of a State Championship as a coach on the 2002 Judson football team. I also coached soccer and track during those times. In the classroom I taught World Geography, US History, PE, Criminal Justice, and Health. After 17 years of teaching and coaching at the high school level I went to Pease Middle school where I served as a special education teacher and eventually became the administrative Intern. Jones Middle School was my next stop, where I served as the Assistant Principal. Then 4 years ago, I accepted the position of Associate Principal at Jordan Middle School. As the Associate Principal I operate on the belief that everyday is a new opportunity. Each day our students get a brand new start to be the best they can be.

Assistant Principal

I am a proud Texas A&M Aggie with a degree in Biomedical Science, but my love of students and teaching led me to get a Masters in Education Leadership so that I can lead teachers who love to teach kids as much as I do.  My entire educational career has been at the middle school level, and I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science, math, and ELA.  I coached for five years, and I was a Gifted and Talented Specialist.  I believe that all kids have the ability to learn and grow each and every day.  I strive to create a positive experience of high quality learning for our Jaguars by building partnerships with our families and community so that they have a strong start to their teen and young adult lives.
