Get to know your Librarian
Your librarian, Lauren Hime, has over 15 years in education with experience teaching students from kindergarten through undergraduate. She earned her Masters of Arts in Teaching in Music Education from Trinity University in 2006 and her Masters of Library and Information Science from Texas Womans University in 2022.
Feel free to reach out, Ms. Hime is always available to answer questions or to offer book recommendations for students and parents. The Jordan library is the heart of our school and all are welcome!

The Jags library is the educational, informational, and physical center of Jordan Middle school. We aim to provide high quality materials and experiences for ALL of our patrons.
In addition to over 16,000 books and 10 student computers, YOUR library has a 3D printer, a 75 gallon fish tank, puzzles, crafts, board games, and opportunities to experiment, build, and create.
