Mrs. McCracken
Hello, Stampede!
My name is Melanie McCracken and I’m so excited to be at Kallison Elementary as a special education collaborative teacher! This is my 3rd year in special education and 10th year teaching after taking time off to be with my babies.
I graduated from Texas Tech University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.
My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 20 years and have five children. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids in all of their activities, cheering on the Red Raiders in college football, and spending time with our friends.
Teaching is my dream job and it is an honor and joy to get to witness the growth and learning of amazing kids each day!
Mrs. Cricchio
Hey y’all! I’m Stephanie Cricchio, a collab teacher at Kallison Elementary. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Media Marketing. After taking a break from working to raise my children, I went back to get my certification in Special Education. This is my third year in Education. I am so excited to get to know your student this year. I am dedicated to helping students succeed in their personal academic goals and create a fun learning environment that fosters a joy for learning. When I'm not at school, I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoor activities in Texas.
Mrs. Giles
My name is Nikki Giles and I'm a proud Florida native from the beautiful beaches of Destin, FL. I am a military wife and mother of three. I began my journey in education as a substitute teacher and quickly fell in love with the classroom. This will be my second year in special education, and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Stampede family! I’m passionate about building meaningful relationships with each of my students. I believe that strong connections create the foundation for a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. My goal is to create a classroom that feels like a community—where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. When I am not on campus, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, and all things Tampa Bay football!
Ms. Mick
Hello! My name is Ms. Mick, and I’m excited to begin my first year as a special education teacher at Kallison Elementary. I bring with me 12 wonderful years of experience teaching 1st grade, and I’m passionate about supporting every learner's unique journey.
I earned my degree in Interdisciplinary Reading from St. Mary's University in the spring of 2013. My academic background and classroom experience have shaped my deep belief that every child can learn—they just need the right tools and support.
Outside the classroom, I’m a proud mom of two amazing children. We love spending time together, especially when we’re watching football and making memories.
My favorite part of this job is helping young minds grow, gain confidence, and realize their full potential. I truly believe that with encouragement and the right strategies, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.
